Sworn for Windows
Your PC,
under the same promise.
The same filter as your phone, the same partner, one alert stream. Pause it or remove it and your partner hears — exactly like the phone.

- Covers every app on the PC, not just the browser
- No screenshots, no browsing history, no device names
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit · about 9 MB · signed by Snowleopard Labs LLC. The Store route skips the blue “Windows protected your PC” warning; the direct installer is the same program if the Store isn't available on your PC. Your DNS isn't changed until you pair.
Install
One installer.
Two routes to the same signed program. The Microsoft Store installs it for you and skips the blue warning screen Windows shows any installer it hasn't seen many times yet; the direct download is the same file, signed by Snowleopard Labs LLC, and Windows asks once for permission. Your DNS is not changed until you pair.
Get it from Microsoft Store Download the installer
Windows 10 and Windows 11, on a 64-bit PC — which is nearly all of them. (Windows 10 needs the October 2018 update or anything newer; Windows tells you under Settings → System → About if you want to be sure.)
- Install it. Either button above. The Store does it for you, the installer asks once for permission. When it finishes, Sworn starts and asks for your pairing code. The Sworn icon also appears next to the clock (behind the ^ arrow if you don't see it) as a crossed-out shield, which means “not protecting yet”. If nothing appears after a Store install, open Start → Sworn, then click the ^ arrow next to the clock, click the Sworn icon and choose Pair with your phone… from its menu.
- Get a code from your phone. In Sworn on your phone: Settings → Add a computer. It shows a short code that's good for ten minutes.
- Pair. Type the code into the box Sworn opened. If you closed it, click the Sworn icon → Pair with your phone…, or open 127.0.0.1:8453 in a browser. The shield turns solid: protected. Your partner is not emailed for adding a computer.
If Windows shows a blue “protected your PC” screen: that's SmartScreen, which warns about any installer it hasn't seen many times yet — it only appears on the direct download, never on the Store route. Click More info and check that the publisher reads Snowleopard Labs LLC before choosing Run anyway. If it says anything else, or “Unknown publisher”, don't run it. Tell us.
What it does
The phone's rules, on the PC.
Sworn installs a small Windows service that sends every lookup, from every app and browser, through your Sworn account. Same categories you chose on your phone, same personal block list, same partner. Blocked attempts count toward the same tally your partner already sees; the PC is never named in an email.
Pause from the Sworn icon's menu stops filtering on this PC and emails your partner. Same as the toggle on your phone. Remove Sworn (the icon's menu → Remove Sworn from this PC…, or Settings → Apps) puts your network settings back and emails your partner that you uninstalled it from a device. Both are one step; neither is secret. That's the deal.
If Sworn's servers can't be reached, whether that's a hotel Wi-Fi sign-in page or an internet outage, Sworn goes back to your normal settings and says so in the menu, rather than cutting the PC off the internet. Your partner's silence-detection still notices a long absence.
Updates are a new installer over the old one. The download above is always the newest version, and installing it on top keeps your pairing. An update never emails your partner.
Verification
Make sure it came from us.
Windows will tell you who made a file, and checking takes about five seconds. Right-click the installer you downloaded, choose Properties, then open the Digital Signatures tab. It should name Snowleopard Labs LLC. If it names anyone else, or that tab isn't there at all, don't run it — tell us instead. The Microsoft Store makes this check for you before it installs anything, which is part of why it's the easier of the two buttons.
If checksums mean something to you, the installer and both
programs inside it are Authenticode-signed, every version we've
published stays at
pkg.sworn.snowleopard.dev
under its own version number alongside a
SHA256SUMS
file, and Get-FileHash sworn-x64.msi in PowerShell
prints the hash to compare. If they don't mean anything to you,
skip this paragraph — the signature above is the same guarantee,
and it's the one we'd check ourselves.
Worth knowing
Where it stops.
A VPN can take over. Sworn changes where your Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections look up web addresses, and a VPN that brings its own keeps working normally. The trade-off is the honest one. While that VPN is connected, its traffic goes around Sworn's filter, and the partner hears from Sworn if the computer stays unfiltered for about a day.
Some browsers carry their own. Brave and Firefox arrive with a setting that looks up addresses privately, inside the browser. That goes around any filter the whole PC is using, Sworn included. It takes about thirty seconds per browser to switch off, and Support walks you through it.
A work or school PC may not be yours to change. If someone else manages this computer, check with them first — their settings can override Sworn's, or stop the install.
Other computers
Mac and Linux.
Sworn for Linux installs with one line. Sworn for Mac is a Mac App Store app with the same menu-bar design. All three pair the same way, with a code from your phone. Sworn for Chromebook is a single ChromeOS setting, with no installer at all. If something's off, tell us. The message is read by the person who wrote it.
